Campari Cocktails


Americano

Ancestor to the Negroni. Lighter, lower ABV cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth (preferred Carpano Antica Formula)
  • Club soda or seltzer

Hardware:

  • Highball glass or other tall glass
  • bar spoon

Directions:

  1. Add ice to glass.
  2. Add Campari and vermouth over ice.
  3. Top with soda
  4. Stir in glass to chill.

Campari and Soda

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Campari
  • 6 oz soda water

Directions:

  1. Add ice to glass.
  2. Add Camparit to glass.
  3. Top with soda.
  4. Garnish with a slice of orange or lemon.

Campari Spritz

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Campari
  • 3 oz Prosecco (Brut)
  • 1 oz soda water

Directions:

  1. Fill a large wine glass with ice.
  2. Add the Campari, then top with Prosecco and soda water.
  3. Garnish with a fresh orange slice.

Boulevardier

Negroni, but with bourbon instead of gin.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth

Directions:

  1. Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
  2. Garnish with a lemon or orange twist.

Negroni Sbagliato

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • Prosecco

Directions:

  1. Pour the Campari and sweet vermouth into a glass over ice.
  2. Top with Prosecco and garnish with an orange slice.

Garibaldi

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz Campari
  • orange juice.

Directions:

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  2. Pour in the Campari, and top with frothed or fresh-squeezed orange juice.
  3. Stir to chill.
  4. Garnish with an orange wedge.

Jungle Bird

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz dark rum
  • ¾ oz Campari
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1½ oz pineapple juice

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to shaker with ice, shake
  2. Strain into a glass over fresh ice
  3. Garnish with a pineapple leaf
